Help please.
I'm on a trip, and I made the stupid mistake of upgrading my Ubuntu 6
machine. I have a Compaq Wireless Lan W200 wireless adapter, which I had
made work using the instructions at:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Device/CompaqW200
I re downloaded the sources, and now when I try to install the recompiled
driver I get the following:
root at brown2:~/usb/firmware# modprobe -v orinoco_usb
insmod
/lib/modules/2.6.15-26-386/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/orinoco_usb.ko
FATAL: Error inserting orinoco_usb
(/lib/modules/2.6.15-26-386/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/orinoco_usb.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)
root at brown2:~/usb/firmware# uname -a
