Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

Please do not think in that way,

I do not know about your income or econimical background.
Ubuntu is offered free and I find it as a huge advantage for people who are not able to buy Windows.

Ubuntu may have one or two problems on a computer, but (even if I am new to Ubuntu) in my experience,
it is free of viruses (if you buy Windows, you'll have to spend some extra for a virus scanner)
it is faster than Windows (doesn't eat system resources)
it has got support for many languages than Windows
    it is more comfortable
it is genuine for all human beings

I can speak many more about Ubuntu but Idon't have time.

The mostly thing is, if you give up Windows, you can purchase Pentium instead Celeron and add some more accessories at the same price when you buy a new computer.

Even in my PC, Ubuntu does not detect the 'Reboot fixup'. But it is not a matter to me to get annoyed. It is not a matter to me at all.

Think more, don't get annoyed.

UBUNTU IS A GOOD OPERATING SYSTEM

Sorry to say Ubuntu & Linux will always be the destined piece-of-shit
for not handling acpi suspend/hibernate decently.

Why the heck is it so difficult for you people to implement -something
you want to become mainstream- ?

YOU THINK PEOPLE ALWAYS WANT TO LEAVE THEIR COMPUTERS ON, CONSUMING AT
THE LEAST 150W ??
I can understand third-party apps not working, like video conferencing,
because they were not interested in supporting linux..but for something
that should have been built in to the core OS, this is disheartening.

-I wasted too many months giving Ubuntu a chance, a chance to get away
from Windows.-

Too many repos, too much crap in those repos, too many steps to do one
goddamn thing.

WE DONT NEED TO PROGRAM A COMPUTER FOR EVERYDAY USE, WE NEED IT TO DO
WORK FOR US.
Until you linux 'scientists' get that into your heads, you will be
stuck in the server market.

DONT EVEN VENTURE INTO DESKTOPS UNTIL YOU GET SOME BASICS FOR AVERAGE
USERS RIGHT.
Its back to Windows for their awesome suspend support, should never
have thought linux was up to the mark :(
