Ubuntu & Postfix

At some point in the past it just happened. Postfix + Mailscanner +
Mailwatch on Ubuntu, but I am open to other things. I did notice on the
postfix site a list of other methods, and if you know of something that
works better please suggest to me so that I can start trying it instead.

I guess my question would be why Mailscanner? I've not used it, but on
the
postfix-users list it often comes up as a source of problems, including
lost mail. This is because it modifies internal Postfix queue files.
What
problem is it you are trying to solve with Mailscanner?
