Dapper - epiphany and firefox stopped working, segmentation fault.

I removed both epiphany and firefox in synaptic, removing their config
files also, and then reinstalled both. I also updated the whole system
to all the latest packages. It seems to be fixed now.

Don't know what happened. Like you said, I suspect either a botched
upgrade or bad hardware.
