EDGY installation problem

  I reeally couldn't tell you. Its a Hewlett Packard Vectra VL8, about 5 or 6
years old, Pentium III @450. Never had this problem before. The installation is
done now and except for  a few glitches (Edgy mounts the other partition on my
desktop as sda3 ) it seems to run well. Had to change the grub.menu to reflect
the fact its an IDE (hda2 /hda3).
