VNC will run on any thing you just need to install vnc server on the the
computer you like to view and have the vnc client on the computer you like
to use.

This a great one. On Linux you can even now-a-days set up X to have VNC
running so that you can log in remotely. I use VNC to access my mac,
windows xp box and my linux server.
Windows uses RDP you need to use on something like Terminal Server Client
to access a windows box, or if you are using KDE KRDC.
I assume by PC you mean a Windows Computer, right. And not a Personal
Computer.
