Sorry for private message.
 
Well first of all you should run something like a sshd on your ubuntu
system.
To access the system from a m$ windows system you should use putty.exe
(google is your friend) and winscp
 
To use putty there a several howto´s ...
 
well start putty ... put the ip of your ubuntu system in on port 22 and
accept the ssh certificate.
after that you will get access to your linux system.
 
login: for example: root
passwort: <the root password>
 
I hope this is what you are looking for and asking about.
