Thanks for that. I have checked and all the files are set-up correctly. It is 
weird because I can ping ubuntu.com, archives.ubuntu.com and also 
gb.archives.ubuntu.com. These are the first part of the sources list, but as 
soon as I try to ping gb.archives.ubuntu.com/ubuntu it doesn't happen. Can 
anybody else ping these or is this what is expected?
