Where did that kernel come from? The dapper 6.06 kernels appear to start
at 2.6.15-22, and the latest is a 2.6.15-26 ...

Search for "linux-headers" , not "kernel-headers" - but as far as I know
there are no version 20 headers in Ubuntu 6.06 - "apt-cache search
linux-headers" shows the lowest at -20. Do you have all updates and
security updates enabled in /etc/apt/sources.list  ?

My kernel version currently:

$  uname -r
2.6.15-26-686

$ dpkg -l linux-headers-$(uname -r) | grep ^ii
ii  linux-headers-2.6.15-26-686 2.6.15-26.46   Linux kernel headers 2.6.15
on PPro/Celeron/PII/PIII/PIV SMP/UP
