How to set cursor theme in gdm?

I've been experiencing this problem recently, and fixed it by one of two
things (I wasn't being very scientific, just going with the shotgun
approach):



1: remove and reinstall the GDM theme you're using (most likely)

2: switch to a different GDM theme, like one of the Ubuntu defaults,
then back to whatever theme you want



And my icons in GDM returned to the default Human icons, exactly as I
want them to be.
