Hi ubuntu-users,
Christina Armstrong just wrote on

There's quite a few people asking about `conflicting packages' on that
page. Search for it and you'll see what I mean. If anyone has the
answer it would be nice to see it on the wiki page.

Something I've wondered is whether, after upgrading from 5.04 to 5.10
with a 5.10 CD do I then need to upgrade to later versions of 5.10
packages available on the net, i.e. `apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
-u', before continuing to upgrade with the 6.06 CD? If so, I've
obviously got a big download after each CD step-up, which is fine, I'd
just like to know in advance to budget the time.
Cheers,
Ralph.
