edgy / xen / amd64

Hi,

did anyone here manage to compile an amd64 kernel with the xen kernel 
source packages? for me both 2.6.16 and 17 sources failed.

does anyone know if xen packages from edgy are compatible with xen 3.0.2
kernels? (I have a working/compiling 2.6.16 + xen 3.0.2 tree, so I would
like to stick with that, but use the xen packages in edgy, as the rest
of xen does not compile on edgy - some other strange issues, not only
-fno-stack-protector).

any info on your mileage with edgy + xen + amd64 would be quite interesting.
