edgy fuzzy fonts bad

+1.  I figured I just need to get used to it.  I changed some of my
monospace fonts to "monospace" or "courier 10 pitch" and increased the size
a few points.  That seems to help, but it kinda sucks having "big" fonts
when everything else is high resolution.
