Thanks. I'm not sure whether I have the same hardware (mine's
Broadcom), but I also reported a bug at:
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/69059
I wonder if it's to do with the way edgy deals with network
connections. With Dapper my interface was wlan0. Edgy doesn't seem to
understand this. It seems to assume it is eth0, and there's is nowhere
in the network settings to change the name. It doesn't pick up the info
from /etc/network/interfaces which uses wlan0 because that's what
either ndiswrapper or wpasupplicant (I can't remember which) seems to
want. Dapper was happy with wlan0.
