Installation??

I am doing my first installation of ubuntu and installing several
application packages. When I installed 'mySQL' (and other packages), I get
the following:

 

Suggested packages:

 

<package names>

 

Recommended Packages:

 

<package names>

 

Do I need to install these packages?

Is there any way that these additional packages are automatically installed?
