dont take it personally
what every body and I meant to say that linux is a totally different
philosophy .... .net is a framework ... a set of libraries
specifically writen for windows ...i mean the api calls , windows
forms look and feel ... its now 3 years that ive been working with C#
and loved that language but at the same time love linux tooo ... so i
have my replacements ... i use mono to full fill my desires for C#
so first clear your self about the concept behind the linux , apache ,
GCC and windows , IIS and .net compilers . they are totally different
breed not in the making but the concept of how to handle processes and
forms and Window enviroment ... so if you want to use it some how
stick to windows for your assignments ... but try to explore the
possiblities of replacements and interoperability

Linux *is* user friendly. It's just selective about who its friends are.
If Windows is the solution, can we please have the problem back?
