I had a problem like this at one point. It seemed that the lib files needed to load Adept were
missing or flawed.... possibly from a bad CD that I'd made from the ISO file. I reloaded it
several times and finally got the "Add/Remove Programs" menu item to load, then clicked on the
"Show unsupported proprietary software buttons at the top of the screen and got things
straightened out.
If that doesn't work you may need to download the ISO filke again and reload from scratch. Be sure
to write the CD-ROM disk at the slowest speed your drive will run to be sure to avoid flaws in it.
