Just thought I'd point out that Ubuntu _does_ come with a firewall
installed by default - iptables. I saw that someone recommended
firestarter as a GUI frontend, there are several others aswell (do
searches in Synaptic and in Google). The community documentation for
iptables @ ubuntu may be a little daunting for those new to Ubuntu /
Linux - but it's there...
