Radeon 9250 in Ubuntu

Before i receiving your reply, i had try to use the ATI driver, it seems can
not work.
So, i try yours free version.

I type 'sudo gedit /etc/X11/xorg.conf' in terminal. Then do whatever you're
asking,
This is my device section,
Section "Device"
    Identifier    "ATI Technologies, Inc. RV280 [Radeon 9200 PRO]"
    Driver        "radeon" (i change from fglyx to radeon)
    BusID        "PCI:1:0:0"

then i restart,
then i type, glxinfo |grep rendering, the result is NO,
smith at smith-host:~$ glxinfo | grep rendering
direct rendering: No

What can i do now? Do i need to uninstall the previous?
