Hello:

This question belongs to DNS list but please read because I may get an
honest answer on this list. If I post this question on 'djbdns' list, I may
inflame several people.

For the last 4+ years, I have been using 'djbdns' on our company's DNS
server. 'djbdns' application is very stable and has worked without any
problem. However; 'djbdns' is not being updated so the application code is
4+ years old.

Originally when we installed 'djbdns', it was suggested that 'BIND' is very
unstable and slow. In the last 5 years BIND has matured and today, it may be
very stable.

I am planning to install Ubuntu distro and use ISPConfig for configuring the
DNS server. ISPConfig uses BIND to configure the DNS server. Therefore, my
question:

Is there any Ubuntu user who has used both 'djbdns' and 'BIND'? Is there any
major difference between these two DNS applications?

Kirt
