Edgy Eft and Skyr at cer PC Card 3011

 I installed edgy eft (running kernel 2.6.17-10-generic) and tried to install the Topcom Skyr at cer PC Card 3011.
Using NetorkManager, I get the following result:

The IP configuration for wlan0 is apparently correct, but a ping to www.google.be yields no result (does not find IP of site and no packet gets transmitted). What is wrong?

I also tried ndiswrapper-utils-1.8, but with the same problem, an IP is given but no route available.

PS: I did remove all encryption of the WIFI connection (which is working on a Dapper Drake 6.06 version, but with another wifi card).
