Grub boot loader has disappeared!

I found Super Grub very helpful after I'd used a hardware RAID
controller to clone a 20gb copies of a production system onto a
40gb disk. None of them would boot until I used Super Grub to
clean up the boot. Not an easy utility to follow, but it got the
job done.
