Annoying firefox problems

That sounds like a problem on the server side (as someone else pointed
out). I've come across that before myself, but not in a while.  I'd
contact your provider.

Have you told Firefox previously what to do with that type of file?  If
not, it's using the GNOME default.  If so, there's a place in
preferences where you can change how various file types are handled (I'm
running Firefox 2.0 beta and I think it's different there).

I'd try telling GNOME you wasn't the default app for .torrent files to
be different.  Save a torrent file to disk, right click on it, select
"Properties" and then the "Open With" tab. Select "Azureus" and click
"close".  If Firefox is set to the system default then you'll now be
opening .torrent files with Azureus instead of Democracy player.

Or at the very least if you click on a downloaded .torrent file it will
launch Azureus and start the download. :-)
