skype: how can I get my voice louder?

Hi Marcelle,
right click Speaker icon on Panel, select "Open Volume Control"
Click on "Edit" and make sure "Microphone is selected in the list showing.
Then select "Capture" and make sure "Microphone" is not "Muted", adjust 
Microphone Volume.
