I'm getting an "interesting" parallel wireless NIC effect with DNS on
my laptop using Dapper Drake. I'm fine connected through the
hard-wired cable until my neighbour turns on his PC (wireless
internet). Then my laptop's Airlink W/LAN card finds him, changes the
DNS and search domain to his, preventing me from connecting through my
LAN. I check the DNS for the W/LAN and the ETH0 LAN cards and sure
enough, there's his DNS and domain. I go in and edit back the correct
info for my DNS and everything's hunky dory for about 5 mins. Then I
see the W/LAN card blinking away.... [sigh]
