Most motherboards have numbers on them somewhere on the expansion slot side
that Google can use to find this information. The better brands include
their name with an obvious model number to make it even easier. Sometimes
the needed information can only be found by removing the motherboard from
the case to find that information on a sticker on the size of the card slot
closest to the end of the case. In rare cases it is found on the bottom, but
such boards are best left undisturbed, as they are made by the less
competent manufacturers, and consequently more likely to object to you
changing anything by refusing to function any longer if you do.
