still have problems

Thanks for responding to my problem of monitor goes blank during installation and some one sujested  to press ctrl+alt+f1 to f7 .
                                                                  But on pressing ctrl+alt+f4 displays a command line display and i am not a genious enough to install ubuntu from command line .can someone help .My installation cd is deaper drake v6.06 lts
