32 Ubuntu on 64 bit AMD CPU, how ?

As I understand it from earlier messages (since I don't have a 64 bit system) it will run fine in
32 bit mode with no changes or corrections. The only thing is it will run somewhat slower than 64
bit mode MIGHT be able to run, but since 32 bit works better generally it's likely the best
choice, unless he needs high end super fast CAD programs or such. For general usage 32 bit mode
should do all he can want.
