How to bring back the workspace switcher panel at the bottom on the desktop

I assume you didn't remove the entire bar at the bottom?

Right click in the gap where it used to be, select add to panel
In the box that pops up scroll to where it says Desktop & Windows, the
last one should say Workspace Switcher, select it and click 'add' at
the bottom of the box, then click close. It should then have returned.
