cddb/freedb for existing collections of wav files?

...and after thinking for a minute, I'm not sure if it can handle WAV
files at all. The description states:

  - View, edit, write tags of MP3, MP2 files (ID3 tag), FLAC files (FLAC Vorbis
    tag), Ogg Vorbis files (Ogg Vorbis tag), and MusePack, Monkey's Audio files
    (APE tag),

Since you don't want tagging, it may work anyway, but you will have to
try it out.
