Livecd distro or alternative required

why dont you chose linux which can install permanently in your hdd so you
can work there, save linux seting, save your file etc.

Personaly i don't like live cd. First it takes time when booting. Second we
gona loose our seting when computer turn off. third it's slow because often
access cdrom drive.

But if you like to try there are varios live cd distro include ubuntu dapper
which run live cd first before pemanently install. These are puppy,
damnsmall linux, slax, knoppix, etc.
