GNOME or KDE

I prefer gnome cos I find it less cluttered and more elegant. If you
have kids they will probably prefer KDE, gnome has a more down to
business feel.
I also think that the fact that Ubuntu is naively Gnome, which I would
think that more of the supported packages are Gnome and they are more
likely to work perfectly. I am sure there is going to be a flood of
KDE people who disagree. I have however seen a review where the
reviewer was using KDE flavor to review ubuntu. most of his
criticisms were due to the configuration/integration of the KDE apps.
I have not experienced such problems with Gnome.
