I think you are correct in your assumption, as my info got;

Can write DVD-R:        1
Can write DVD-RAM:      0

..and no mention of DVD+R, and my DVD burner is only capable of DVD+R(W)
and not DVD-R.

Although, still just making assumptions, so if anyone that knows this
better would confirm I'd be great.
