Whenever I have the misfortune of having to install Windows,
which happens less often at time goes by. I always do the install
behind a cheap cable/dsl router/firewall where the box I'm doing
the install on is the only box behind it, even if I am on a
school/corporate network with its own firewall. I don't let the
Windows box try to stand on its own till I have all service packs
and updates installed.
