Where is 'ar' ?

I cannot find any 'apt-file'.
I suppose you means 'apt-cache', however 'apt-cache bin/ar' returns nothing 
and 'apt-cache search ar' returns thousends of packages...,

Where can I find which the package which contains 'ar' executable ?
