The individual Ubuntu repos are described here
http://www.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/components along with how well supported
they are, etc.

If you use repositories other than Ubuntu's main, restricted, universe
and multiverse you need to use common sense. When you upgrade to a new
distribution release you should disable such repositories before
upgrading.
