    Just an aside, but keep in mind the peculiar situation of the palm
pilot: I got two of these for under $30 on eBay...when they eventually
break, I won't be out several hundred.

    I don't look to Stalin for wisdom or humor, but this one time, one
of his quotes apply:  "Quantity has a quality of it's own".

    :)

    I use a Palm 5 on my job, guarding apartment complexes. I compose an
email as I make the rounds, assessing the situation and mailing the boss
when I get it to the cradle. Yeah, I'd love to have MP3 playing or
videos, but how enjoyable could it be with less than several Gig of
storage space, anyway?

    Just a thought...
