ClamAv: is anyone paying attention?

   Well, I started the post...this is the original topic; my Fedora
installs don't show this, they're all running 88.5 of the software.
It's clear that the signatures are up to date, but my beef is that of
all things Ubuntu does BETTER than Fedora, this seems like the easiest
to continue that line. (I can say this: I've been with Redhat since 4.0,
and don't like messing with it, anymore.)  :)

  So once again...how do we get the mechanism updated?  The
maintainer-of-record is for the generic, Debian version. And adding the
backport repos doesn't help any.

  Does *anyone* know who's supplying the ClamAV stuff for Ubuntu?
