Yeah it looks like the same problem, please verify the version of mldonkey you
have installed using the command
dpkg -l | grep -i mldonkey

My version is
rF  mldonkey-server              2.7.1-2ubuntu2            Door to the 'donkey'
network

Just post you version here

Incase you want to remove it manually (at your own risk!), here are two usefull
command for noobs like us :)

dpkg-deb -I /var/cache/apt/archives/mldonkey-server_2.7.1-2ubuntu2_i386.deb
dpkg-deb -c /var/cache/apt/archives/mldonkey-server_2.7.1-2ubuntu2_i386.deb

(note this only works if you still have the .deb package in the apt cache!)
