in a terminal run the following:

	sudo aptitude install linux-686 -y

It should do everything else, if it doesn't get everything you may
complement it with:
	sudo aptitude install linux-image-686 -y

the "-y" at the end stops it from asking you for confirmation of the
install, you may want to remove it to see what's happening in more
