ClamAv: is anyone paying attention?

I understand that you are worried because of the boneheaded corporate
policy you told me about, and if I was in your shoes I might be nervous
too. And therefore I and others have already suggested to run ClamAv to
placate the crazy people making these policies.

But apart of that stupid policy: puleeze! Ubuntu without a virus scanne
is infinitely more secure than Windows with virus scanner, spyware
scanner, and several other crap stacked on top. As long as we are
talking about real security and not clueless corporate managers this is
simply ridiculous.

Linux/Bliss was sighted for the last time in 1997. It is only dangerous
if you run it as root, duh!

Staog has not been sighted in the wild since 1997
