I'm running Xubuntu dapper and trying to update to Edgy.
After following the instructions on
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EdgyUpgrades?#head-d8c4cd1dd987e54723fef2760b37f9279487551f
I'm getting this output from dpkg --configure -a:
--------
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of libxdmcp6:

What's the problem here?
If I try to remedy the problem with a sudo apt-get -f install,
here's what I get:
agger at mahadev:~$ sudo apt-get -f install

What's the problem? Should I reboot my system as is (I really don't feel
like doing that ...!) or can the situation be fixed somehow?
