Try Quasar from Linux Canada http://www.linuxcanada.com/quasar.shtml . I
have just installed it on Dapper and it looks good. It gives you a
choice of PostgesSQL or Firebird for the database. They have active
support forums and helped me with an install problem.

I started looking around because I eventually got fed up with GnuCash; a
good product but not very user friendly IMHO. Had a look at Sql-Ledger
but prefer Quasar.
