    Ironically, Fedora's Directory Server is why I tried Ubuntu: Redhat
has ignored changes to the (rarely-working) OpenLdap they ship because
they have that, instead....and I'm not gonna trust the ever-changing
Java for something so central and mission-critical as my LDAP service.
Not a jFan...

    That's ok, if I can't work out something with standalones and the
basic tools, I'll just not install it, there.   :(
