Hi, to get ubuntu to use a seperate /home partition you will need to
ensure that fstab contains an appropriate entry for it. You may get away
without performing a reboot after the edit by the command "sudo mount
-a".

Fdisk will show you what's happening on you drives but **I don't think**
it will show you anything useful if you point at /dev/md0 since this is
an array, a bunch of discs and not a single disc. I could be wrong of
course, hence I used the words "I think" :)
