NEW - KDE in Ubuntu

Hello again :D

Searching for KDE in Ubuntu, found a link to kubuntu.org and in the
downloads there's an ISO... before downloading I want to clear a doubt...

Is it a new "ubuntu" installation CD but KDE based instead of an installable
KDE or packages? I mean, do I need to reinstall a new KDE-based ubuntu or
the ISO contains the KDE packages and tools only?
