Ah, I understand that, I had a similar problem in my last job and
luckily the CISCO VPN I need both worked in Windows in VMWARE and on
Ubuntu so I could connect from either.  I'm also lucky I have my own
machine. It's the shared machine I need to maintain as dual boot, mine
is straight ubuntu with VMware only.
