How to find a file inside a package?!

Hi,

Is there anyway to find  the package of a filename THAT IS NOT
installed? A couple of days ago, I was looking for "lockfile".
Fortunately, I recall that "procmail" provides "lockfile".

But what if I totally forgot? Is there anyway to find it?
