"Qt: Locales not supported on X server" on Ubuntu 6.10 AMD64

Hello Ubuntu Help and User Discussions!

When I start Kylix 3 application based on QT 2.3 I get this error
message:

Qt: Locales not supported on X server

The application starts, but german umlautes are not shown correctly.

On Ubuntu 6.10 32bit is everything working fine. What does it happen
with actual 64bit release, because with 6.06 LTS 64bit we haven't had
any problem.
