Jmak,

I've found that the minimum panel sizes are a function of the icons and
plugins you have running. I've been able to get a panel, set up as a
task bar, down quite small because all that appears in the bars is a
program's title. But when I've used plug-ins such as system monitors,
they inadvertently enforce a minimum size to maintain a readable
plug-in. Or so it seems to me...
